Certainly, Mountain View elves are very busy this February. We are still analyzing and resolving the consequences of the search algorithm updates made on 02/09 and 02/13 and our algorithm variability monitoring tools have already detected a new disturbance that indicates a new possible update.
As usual, Google has not confirmed this new update to its search algorithm, but the truth is that the analysis tools make it clear that something is happening:
With regard to our accounts, at Sinapsis we have detected a significant impact from this update to the Google algorithm. 36.8% of the accounts, especially in the shopping sector, have experienced an upward trend; while 34.2% have suffered a decline. The remaining 29% have maintained, in some way, a stable situation.
From Sinapsis we are still alert to any possible variation of the Google algorithm and we are already taking measures to counteract the effects of this update.
