We all know what a bug is, although within the computer world it acquires a different meaning and everything has a reason. We will start by defining bug in computing and then we will explain the reason for that name …
A bug is simply an error / failure in a computer program or software system giving an unexpected result.

And now why …
According to the story, in 1947 a small moth entered a computer causing an error in its operation. Grace Hopper found that bug and recorded the first computer bug in history. She used it to describe errors in the code of a computer program that lead to failures.

Whatever the story, the truth is that bugs are caused by errors made by software or system code developers. So we are not talking about insects but about people who when designing software make a mistake of incompatibility with other programs or software.

Depending on the type of bug and the circumstances for which it appears, we can find different types of errors, some more serious than others. A minor bug will hardly cause us problems since they do not harm the information of the programs. On the other hand, there are bugs that can cause a program to be blocked and not allow the response of the desired commands. With this type of bug we will be forced to restart our device and may lose all the work that we have not previously saved.
And finally, the most dangerous bugs are those that produce security breaches. These types of bugs are created on purpose with the clear purpose of violating the security of programs or systems. So they can get access to private information and cause multiple failures.
