Last November, the Mountain View giant launched the beta version of the Google Ads Insights page in response to consumer behavior to the new normal caused by the Covid-19 crisis. In their ad they explained, for example, that they had observed that consulting as an “online gift” had grown by 80% year-on-year. The beta version of Google Ads Insights was the answer to be aware of these trends and take advantage of these new opportunities.
Discover valuable information for your business
The beta version of Google Ads Insights allowed you, in the countries in which it was active, to consult valuable information and new trends related to your business in a simple way. Let’s say you have a pet store and you want to reach more customers. Thanks to the Google Ads Insights page, you can see a growing demand for “subscription boxes for dogs” and “toys for dogs”. In this way, you can take advantage of these trends and create campaigns that allow you to reach new pet owners or even consider selling dog care packages.
You could also take a closer look at each trend to identify which searches were increasing and the locations where demand was growing the fastest. For example, a supermarket could observe a search trend for “vitamins and supplements”, with a growing demand for “vitamin C” in Murcia and the Valencian Community.
Or you could discover new opportunities relevant to your business with trend suggestions, which are the most in-demand categories outside of your current scope. For example, a supermarket may discover a trend, such as “dalgona coffee”, and decide to sell or develop a related product.
The Google Ads Insights page also included recommendations to help you take action based on the trends you observed in your account. With just a few clicks, you could view and apply keyword, quote, and bid recommendations.
Google Ads Insights is now available to everyone
Since last April 14, the Google Ads Insights page has been available to advertisers around the world. On the Statistics page, you will find relevant trends for your company that will help you know if you are up to date with the demand for products or services.
