Usability (UX) is the way in which any user interacts with a product or service both on a website and in an application. This set of elements on which the user acts through tools will allow him to achieve a specific objective. For our brand to work, we must facilitate the way for the user by not feeling dissatisfied for not getting what he wants. This basic characteristic will make the “walk” through our page pleasant, simple and above all, the most important thing, that you want to return.

What UX measures

The UX (web usability) will allow us to measure three important aspects:

  • Efficacy. It will give us the result of the people who have successfully achieved a goal. So that Internet users do not feel frustrated and do not manage to finish the goal, we can take a series of measures by simplifying processes or introducing instructions.
  • Efficiency. It will give us the result of the time that the user has taken from entering the web until it reaches its purpose. We have to think that in a short process this metric would be useless so we will try to adapt it to our needs as well. If the results show that the task took a long time to complete, we will have to make sure that the website map is consistent.
  • User satisfaction. It will give us the result of the satisfaction that the user has had when browsing our web page. For this, the scale of usability systems. A normal scale includes ten questions that will measure the customer’s opinion but we can add some more questions if we think it is necessary. The only way to improve satisfaction is by reading all the answers that the user gives, in them are the keys to improvement.
