Are you passionate about online marketing and want to learn freely? We thought it would be interesting to ask our CEO Nicola Picasso, an expert in online marketing, what books and material he would recommend so that you learn much more about this great world.
Nico, today we would like to ask you some recommendations for those who are starting in the world of digital marketing. We know that analytics is very important to you and that it is something you dedicate a large part of your time to. What material would you recommend in the field of web analytics?
-To start with analytics, I recommend two basic ones:
– Web 2.0 analytics, from the Great Avinash Kaushik. It is an essential that cannot be missing from your library if you are interested in web analytics (available on Amazon).
– El Arte de medir, another basic one, but this one of national authorship: Gemma Muñoz and Tristán Elósegui have shaped this book that focuses on presenting web analytics as a business tool.
And if we talk about SEO, for example, what would you recommend us?
And now, could you recommend us something more general?
And what practical advice would you give to the new generations of online marketing?
My advice is to never stop being curious, asking yourself questions and looking for answers. Learning in our field never ends, I myself dedicate a large part of my time, both at work and in my free time, to looking for new solutions, studying new trends, taking tests … In short, learning. It is a field that requires, in addition to a lot of dedication and effort, some passion: you have to like it, you need the curiosity of the adventurer so that this continuous process, which never ends, is not heavy or a burden for you, since, to be good you have to like it … If not the maximum you can aspire to is mediocrity, the mediocrity of those who do not enjoy their profession. But if you like it, if you enjoy it, in addition to being an excellent professional, you will get to really enjoy what you do. So cheers up and enjoy this adventure! ☺
We hope this information has been of interest to you, see you next week with the recommendations of our CIO.
Goodbye!
