At the end of September Google will launch the new exact keyword and sentence operation, this operation will emphasize variations such as spelling mistakes, accents, acronyms and plurals.

Google has said that these improvements have been made to improve the user experience and also to ensure that advertisers reach all users interested in their business.

Many have speculated that words with exact matches and phrases have disappeared forever, which is not true, what Google has done is extend its range, now you will have the option to include plurals and other variants.

It is well known that Adwords account managers used exact match to avoid misspelled word combinations, as I commented at the beginning, at the end of September this type of spelling mistakes will activate our ads, that’s what I know, as long as it is not accompanied by any negative keywords, from these changes negative keywords will play a much more important role than they already did, as this is where we will have to put the most effort into not throwing away the budget on searches that don’t interest us.

What Google wants is for the advert to reach all our public even if they have confused the B with the V (be careful, more than one of us has done this).

See you next time
