Newsletters have arrived for LinkedIn business accounts, a new improvement to the platform’s interface. And they do not do it alone, but accompanied by other notable adjustments to campaign manager, the tool for creating and publishing ads.

These newsletters will complement articles for company pages by publishing professional long-form content, which can increase conversations and engagement, driving greater participation.

The creation of communities based on customers’ preferred topics will be made easier with the help of these newsletters, allowing for the subscription of these newsletters to which members can subscribe.

The community of followers of a company’s website, thanks to these newsletters, will be able to keep up to date with the company’s news, helping the organisation to grow and the members of the community to become more and more numerous.  Let’s see how.

Growing and strengthening a community

Newsletters will make it easier for the community of followers of a company page to keep up to date with the latest news, and this will boost the growth of the community. How? As the page’s followers receive an immediate notification when the newsletter is created, and can share it outside LinkedIn, immediate reach is promoted.

LinkedIn has reported in its press release that a number of companies have already tested the newsletter function and are already reaping good results: Insider and Zoom. Insider reached almost 820,000 subscribers in 24 hours, reflecting the enormous potential of newsletters to engage audiences and grow.

In the case of Zoom, as one of the first companies in the software technology sector to publish a newsletter, it saw more than 10% of its followers subscribe to the newsletter in the first 24 hours.

An improved Campaign Manager experience

LinkedIn also created a new and improved Campaign Manager experience, streamlining navigation that mirrors the campaign lifecycle. Now advertisers no longer need to spend as much time on administration, but can spend it on more effective campaigns. Campaign Manager’s simplified navigation makes it easier for users to access their account settings and manage their content, including switching between more than one account.

The platform also stated that as we have moved into the third year of the pandemic, the importance of connection has grown. That’s why LinkedIn is constantly working to research and develop new solutions to help networks grow, expand their reach and create new audiences. The platform’s new features are designed to make it easier for users to work by amplifying their campaigns in short timeframes, fostering and deepening their connections with organic communities, and streamlining the entire ad campaign management process.
