Functioning
Its operation is quite simple, the different conversations that our contacts are making appear on the home screen. Right at the bottom of the screen we will find the button “+ Start a room” that will help us to start our chat room.
Chat rooms are the root of this application, and there are three room formats; public, social and private.
- Public room. This room, as the word indicates, remains open so that any user who wishes can participate.
- Social room. In the social room we will only be able to interact with the people that we have among our contacts and whom we “follow”.
- Private room. The private room can only be accessed by invitation.
How to create a Clubhouse account
In order to create a Clubhouse account, you will need an invitation beforehand. Now we know why the application is so exclusive … Not only because at the moment it is for IOS but also because it requires invitations to enter.
Download it you can download it but until you receive the two invitations that are required you will not be able to join the club. As long as you do not receive these two invitations, you will remain on a virtual waiting list and you will not be able to finish creating your profile.
Once you get the two invitations you can continue, put a username, a profile photo and write your bio with no character limit. After these basic steps, you will only have to choose five topics that are interesting to you. That is when the algorithms of the application will be launched to show you the content that best suits your tastes.
Privacy and security at Clubhouse

The conversations should not leave the application, therefore the recording of the conversations by the users is not allowed.
